Bittele Electronics Launches Free Passive Parts Service
November 14, 2016 | Bittele Electronics, Inc.Estimated reading time: 1 minute
Bittele Electronics Inc., a contract electronics manufacturer of PCB assembly services, is introducing a Free Passive Parts Service for customers of its PCB assembly services.
The customers of Bittele's PCB assembly services can benefit from the Free Parts Service in the following ways:
- Greater Cost Reductions: The total cost of assembly orders will be significantly reduced when parts are selected from Bittele’s in-house inventory.
- Avoid Order Holds: Prior to this free parts offer, even if only one part was not in stock with our suppliers, Bittele would place a hold on an order until it obtained a customer’s approval to use a substitute. By choosing parts from Bittele’s in-house stock, customers substantially reduce the risk of order holds and production delays.
- Guaranteed High Quality: Bittele uses only high-end brands such as Vishay Dale for chip resistors and Murata or AVX for chip capacitors. This special offer guarantees high quality passive components.
- Faster Quotes: Since Bittlele is not charging for these parts, they will not be quoted in the BOMs, which simplifies quotes so a customer will receive quotes much faster.
"Bittele Electronics is taking one more step in its commitment of offering the best service to customers of its PCB assembly business," stated Ben Yang, general manager of Bittele Electronics. "By providing Free Parts, we can reduce the risk of assembly-line downtime, avoid using the wrong components in the event of a supplier mistake, and reduce the time to complete parts loading."
A customer can determine what free parts are available by searching through the Free Passive Parts Database maintained by Bittele Electronics. This is an easy-to-use, searchable database that allows a customer to search for resistors or capacitors by package type and component value. It will provide the component item, manufacturer, part number, description, stocking and datasheet.
