Sono-Tek Corp. has expanded its engineering team by appointing Christine Pennisi as a new applications engineer for its Electronics and Advanced Energy division.

Pennisi holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Her areas of expertise include photoresist, semiconductors, fuel cells, nanowires and CNTs. She has more than a year of experience working closely with customers in Sono-Tek's Milton, New York laboratory using Sono-Tek ultrasonic coating systems to test applications, prove processes and help specify coating equipment for new and existing customers.

Pennisi joins a seasoned team of five full-time applications engineers at Sono-Tek, in addition to laboratory support personnel.
