90 in 90: Koh Young America Delivers Every Day in 1Q

Koh Young Technology recently announced a banner 2017, which included delivering its 11,000th machine to Dynamic Manufacturing, a Matric Group Company located near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. And then, Koh Young America reached a significant milestone.  It set the standard for technology adoption by delivering an inspection system every single day during the first quarter of 2018.

“I am thrilled that we have once again achieved the “One a Day” milestone by delivering 90 systems in 90 days. Yet, I am prouder of a different accomplishment,” said Mr. Juan Arango, Managing Director of Koh Young America. “Of course, sales are an important metric to any executive; however, customer confidence is critical. In a testament to our industry-leading service and support team, many of our existing customers invested with Koh Young America again this past quarter.  What’s more, over 21 percent of the quarter’s unit sales were with new customers – a feat accomplished by very few, if any, suppliers. Our technology and service are continually being recognized as best-in-class by manufacturers.”

The high customer conversion rate and consistent growth reflects the industry’s confidence in the Koh Young True 3D technology and Smart Factory solutions. Koh Young provides real-time process optimization with powerful SPC analytics to minimize or potentially eliminate defects that can increase rework costs or compromise product reliability. The KSMART software suite makes it even more powerful and lays the foundation for a Smart Factory.

With several innovative solutions and enhancements, plus complementing process software and connectivity features planned this year, Koh Young expects tremendous success moving forward. As we turn to the next quarter, Koh Young Technologies will continue to showcase its leading solutions at NEPCON China in Shanghai during 24-26 April 2018. At the show, Koh Young will highlight its latest production and process innovations. We welcome show attendees to visit us and understand why so many manufacturers turn to Koh Young to handle inspection challenges. Poor Supply Chain Management Will Cost You Money

04/27/2018 | Stephanie Weaver, Zentech Manufacturing Inc.
Supply chain management goes far beyond merely keeping track of all the SKUs currently on sale. It also means tracking the parts going into the products, since those parts are also potentially going to be used for post-sale support if necessary. If you can't trust your components to be legitimate and trustworthy, backed by a solid chain-of-possession, then every aspect of your electronics operation may be in jeopardy.

Industry 4.0 Concerns

04/27/2018 | Russell Poppe, JJS Manufacturing
The fastest way for manufacturers to achieve growth in a new world of industrial connectivity is to leverage new technologies. A transition to automated data and process management is irrefutable. But, while this heralds smart supply chains that bring enhanced agility, productivity and profitability, many are adopting a "wait and see" approach.
