KIC's R&D Manager Ryan Wilshusen is taking over leadership of the Product Management (PM) group. Tom Bergeron is the product manager for KIC projects related to improving the company’s current product offerings, while Miles Moreau, global manager – Products & Technologies, is working with the marketplace and internal KIC team to define the company's product and technology roadmap.

Wilshusen brings to this position a superior understanding of technologies and invention-insight that will help KIC produce better and more effective technical solutions. The change takes effect immediately and at the perfect time for KIC, as the industry is in the early phases of investing in smart factory technologies.

“For years we have offered products far more advanced than what the average customer wanted. Now, we need to accelerate our product development considerably in order to accommodate the market needs, and to stay ahead of the curve. With Ryan leading both R&D and PM, we should be well positioned to continue making serious headway,” says KIC’s President Bjorn Dahle.

Wilshusen joined KIC in 2016 with more than 16 years of experience as an electrical engineer with respected companies, such as HP, and various industries, including medical, industrial, aviation and consumer. Wilshusen has demonstrated strong management capabilities with a consistent track record of anticipating consequences of new designs, initiating solutions, and completing specifications on the first attempt.
