Anda Technologies, a leading provider of fluid application and custom design manufacturing equipment, is pleased to announce they will be exhibiting in Hall 4, booth 520 at the upcoming SMTconnect Expo, scheduled to take place May 7-9 at the Messe in Nuremberg, Germany.

Anda, who has recently picked up a slew of awards, including two Global Technology Awards in October 2018, two Mexico Technology Awards in November 2018, and an NPI award in January 2019, will highlight their cleaning and conformal coating equipment at the German show.

Please stop by Hall 4, booth 520 at the show to learn more about the award-winning iCoat-5 Conformal Coating Machine and its award-winning AP-460 Cleaning System.

The iCoat-5 offers an accuracy of 0.02mm. 4 Axis’ (X, Y, Z, U) plus 35° tilt makes iCoat-5 the most flexible workcell for high-mix, selective conformal coating applications.

The technologically advanced AP-460 removes all impurities and contaminants (including dust, grease and dirt, as well as static electricity), improving surface area adhesion.

For more information, please visit Hall 4, booth 520 at SMTConnect.

E-waste encompasses a myriad of "unseen" metals, semi-metals, and chemical compounds that are found inside circuit boards, wires, and electrical connections. If not handled correctly, chemicals—such as cadmium, barium, lithium, lead, mercury, and beryllium—can present a significant health risk through direct contact, the inhalation of toxic fumes, or the build-up of toxins in water, soil, and food products.

Dispensing EMI Shielding Materials: An Alternative to Sputtering

08/23/2019 | Garrett Wong, Nordson Asymtek and Jinu Choi, Henkel Electronic Materials Llc
Shielding electronic systems against EMI has become a hot topic. Technological advancements toward 5G standards, wireless charging of mobile electronics, in-package antenna integration, and SiP adoption are driving the need to apply more effective EMI shielding and isolation to component packages and larger modules. For conformal shielding, EMI shielding materials for exterior package surfaces have mostly been applied with a PVD process of sputtering, leveraging front-end packaging technologies to back-end packaging applications.
