Christopher Associates Intros Low-cost Solder Dross Recovery
August 5, 2008 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
SANTA ANA, Calif. North American distributor Christopher Associates debuted the KDS-101 benchtop solder dross recovery system from Koki Tec Corporation (Saitama, Japan). The KDS-101 reportedly offers a safe, simple, and inexpensive method to recover purified solder from dross in all soldering operations, especially PCB fabrication and assembly.
With RoHS requirements pressing for improved efficiencies, materials costs at historic highs and the demand by end users to reduce manufacturing costs, dross recovery helps reduce materials usage and improve the economics of the process. Recovered solder can be immediately reused and dross disposed of more efficiently. Christopher Associates will be exhibiting at SMTAI in Orlando, Florida, August 1921, at Booth 803.
