Zoiss Keynotes SMTA Harsh Environments Workshop

MINNEAPOLIS Edward J. Zoiss, director of R&D for Harris' Government Communications Systems and the Defense Communications and Electronics organizations will keynote the AIMS harsh environment electronics workshop, co-located with SMTA International (SMTAI), August 18 and 19 in Orlando.
Zoiss is responsible for development and maintenance of Harris's government and defense communications and electronics technology strategy and provides oversight of technology-related, customer-funded studies. Before joining Harris, Zoiss was a project engineer for SAIC and served as a mechanical engineer with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
The AIMS Harsh Environment Electronics Workshop will address the concerns related to harsh environment electronics and the challenges within the electronics community, with an added emphasis on military and space. It is intended to bring together the needs of end-users with the capabilities of the research community and the industrial supply base.
