IPC Names Heller President to Board

BANNOCKBURN, Ill. IPC Association Connecting Electronics Industries appointed Marc Peo, president, Heller Industries, to its Board of Directors, following the resignation and retirement of Pierre de Villeméjane of Speedline. Peo will serve out Villeméjane's unexpired term, through April 2009.
Peo serves on IPC's APEX tradeshow subcommittee and in its Surface Mount Equipment Manufacturers Association (SMEMA) council. He also is a member of the Advanced Packaging and Interconnect Alliance (APiA) consortium and the Japan Robot Association (JARA).
Peo has worked with Heller for 24 years, and has been president of the company for 12. He leads the company's customer-user groups that help determine Heller's R&D roadmap. The company has received three SMT VISION Awards and two Frost & Sullivan Market Leadership Awards during his tenure. For more information on the appointment, see www.ipc.org.
