May 9, 2007 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
CLINTON, N.Y. Indium Corporation named Terry Guckes as business development director for metals and chemicals, and Bill Brunstedt as associate director of Asia-Pacific sales and marketing. Both will be responsible for developing business relationships.
Guckes with a background in specialty chemicals, batteries, solar, and gallium; and production, reclaim, and refinement of raw materials will extend existing relationships and create new customer opportunities in the metals and chemicals business unit, based in Clinton. He will manage gallium and germanium products. Guckes holds a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a BS in chemical engineering from Princeton University, and an MBA with distinction from the Wharton School of Business.
Indium named Brunstedt to the director position in Asia after his work as market development manager for that region, begun in 2005. Brunstedt has more than 20 years experience in the electronics industry, and will integrate sales activities in China and the Asia-Pacific region, as well as developing and expanding the region's sales force. He is based in Singapore.
