Cogiscan Hires in Japan
April 9, 2007 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
BROMONT, Canada Cogiscan hired Satoshi Inoue, as Japan sales engineer, to support regional customers and drive growth. Inoue's background is in PCB assembly (PCBA) sectors, and he served more than 10 years with an SMT equipment provider in quality assurance, customer support, and software solutions.
Japan has been a region of increased interest in recent years, said Cogiscan's Jim Weik, Asia sales manager, adding that Japanese OEMs require cost-effective, scalable, and traceable solutions. Cogiscan is promoting its traceability software and RFID/barcode technologies in this market. Inoue explained that part of his role will be to communicate the company's range of material-control solutions to Japan's electronics manufacturers.
