Drop-in Cleaner Removes Flux
October 24, 2006 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
MANASSAS, Va. As a drop-in replacement for high- and medium-pressure batch or inline systems, the ATRON AC 205 acts as a mild cleaner to remove flux residues. The monothanolamine-free, alkaline, aqueous-based cleaning agent from ZESTRON AMERICA reportedly leaves solder joints and pads bright, and is compatible with aluminum and epoxy surfaces.
The formula is said to increase bath life up to 10 times over traditional surfactants. The non-foaming cleaning agent removes flux on lead-free and leaded assemblies, and is said to eliminate white scaling in the cleaning process.
With low odor and low VOCs, the cleaner meets worker-safety standards, and is WEEE- and RoHS-compliant.
