Valor Gains U.S. Personnel

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, Calif. Valor Computerized Systems appointed two members to its developing U.S. team.
Dan Weitzman became vice president of sales, North America, for the company. Having joined Valor seven years ago, Weitzman was most recently senior account manager. He also held account management roles at VeriBest Inc. and Viewlogic Systems prior to moving to Valor.
Also in the U.S. division, Howard Rupprecht was appointed director of marketing, and will oversee Valor's marketing operations in the Americas. Rupprecht will focus on penetration in this territory, customer and industry events, and new product development markets that present strategic relationships with Valor customers and channel partners.
Prior to joining Valor, Howard served at OK International for 12 years, most recently as vice president of marketing in the U.S. Valor appointed Rupprecht to the U.S. position because of his experience in managing marketing departments on a regional and global scale, explained Ori Braun, president of Valor. Valor Computerized Systems develops technologies for simulating and optimizing printed circuit board manufacture.
