Technical Forum Addresses RoHS Queries

CHELMSFORD, Mass. Although the July 1, 2006 RoHS deadline is just weeks away, manufacturers still have questions about compliance; and within those companies, the Directive will affect products at every level of the supply chain. To answer some of the final questions leading up to the deadline, Intelligent Manufacturing Solutions (IMS), in association with Arrow Electronics, present Time's up! What do we do now? A RoHS Compliance Symposium, on June 13, 2006, at the Radisson Hotel, Chelmsford, Mass.
This full-day technical symposium will answer questions regarding compliance, design, product roadmaps, material availability, and mixed-technology assembly. Keynote presenter, Holly Evans, Esq., president, Strategic Counsel, LLC, will address legal questions regarding exemption assessment, compliance, and due diligence documentation. Strategic Counsel is a Washington, D.C.-based environmental law and policy consulting firm that provides members of the global electronics industry advice on international electronics compliance issues.
