Seminar Series Clarifies Lead-free

STRATHAM, N.H. — Three lead-free RoHS seminars co-hosted by Stratham, N.H.-based Vitronics Soltec and Des Plaines, Ill.-based Kester will take place in June, and will be held in three different locations across the U.S. Each one-day seminar aims to help the North American electronics manufacturing industry get answers to lead-free assembly questions, as well as ease the transition to lead-free and RoHS.
Each seminar will address:
How to make lead-free alloys work as well as 63/37 How to choose compatible boards and finishes for lead-free How to ensure components meet requirements How to make the right flux choices and maintain low defects How to determine needed equipment changes or optimization How to prevent defects and increase reliability from case studies How to avoid rework damage with lead-free How to develop correct hand-soldering methods to reduce defects and increase qualityThe seminar schedule is as follows:
