FITCHBURG, Mass. — Micron Products, a wholly owned subsidiary of Arrhythmia Research Technology has formed Micron Integrate Technologies (MIT) to specialize in the production of metal and plastic components for the medical and defense industries.
Through Micron, MIT manufactures silver-plated and non-silver-plated conductive resin sensors and distributes metal snaps used in the manufacture of disposable ECG, EEG, EMS, and TENS electrodes. Micron's NEM division manufactures custom injection molding products for medical, electronic, industrial, and consumer applications.
"The expansion of Micron's offerings with this division will better serve our existing customer base and allow for diversification into new markets," states James E. Rouse, Micron president and CEO. "We will provide end-to-end product lifecycle management through a comprehensive portfolio of value-added services such as design, engineering, prototyping, manufacturing, machining, assembly, and packaging."
