Intel, Honeywell Sensing and Automation Nab NEDA Manufacturer Awards
November 17, 2005 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
ATLANTA — Intel Corp. and Honeywell's Sensing and Automation Division have each been awarded with the NEDA Manufacturer of the Year Award at its annual awards ceremony during the 2005 NEDA Executive Conference, held November 6–8, 2005, at the Renaissance Chicago Hotel.
Created in 1990, the NEDA Manufacturer Award recognizes the manufacturer-supplier that best exemplifies the spirit of partnership in the electronic distribution industry. It honors two manufacturers per year — one from the passives side and one from the active side. The chosen companies must exemplify support of authorized distribution and support of NEDA and its industry guidelines. The highest priority goal of the chosen organizations is the development of closer partnerships that enable both manufacturers and authorized distributors to better serve the customer. The Manufacturer Award recipients are nominated by the NEDA Board of Directors and selected by ballot by NEDA distributor members.
Canda Carr and Thomas Dalton, Honeywell Sensing and Automation Division; and Jim Sandrolini, Intel Corp., accepted the awards on behalf of their respective companies.
