Digital Multimeters Ideal for Advanced Test Systems
March 1, 2005 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
SEATTLE — Signametrics' 7½-digit PXI/cPCI digital multimeters (DMMs) offer advanced functionality and fast measurement speeds. The SMX2064 has high measurement rates up to 20,000 readings/sec. and low DC current measurement ranges down to 50 pA. With true 7½-digit accuracies, advanced, scope-like triggering and extended DC and resistance measurement ranges, the two PXI DMMs are aimed at the needs of advanced test systems in components and sensor manufacturing.
The SMX2064 has a 24,000,000-count dynamic range, translating to resolutions of 10 nV. It offers six-wire guarded resistance, inductance and capacitance measurements (LCR), frequency and timing measurements, thermocouple and RTD measurements, and V & I sourcing. The SMX2060 provides the same high accuracy as the SMX2064, also sharing the 24,000,000-count-based measurement, and features 1,400 reading-per-sec. measurement speed. The SXM2060 functionality includes four-wire Ω, frequency and temperature measurements.
