Adept Technology Announces i-Series Robot Advantage Promotion
October 19, 2004 |Estimated reading time: 1 minute
Livermore, Calif.—Adept Technology Inc., a leading manufacturer of robotic systems, motion control and machine vision technology, announces its i-Series Robot Advantage Promotion for the Adept Cobra i600 and i800 robots. The promotion is designed to offer customers the competitive advantage of robotic automation over dedicated production lines or offshore manufacturing. This introductory program offers the Adept Cobra i600 robot at $16,985 or the Adept Cobra i800 at $19,990 with the trade-in of any used SCARA robot. Additionally, the program will offer robot users the opportunity to purchase the Adept Cobra i600 at $17,985 and the Adept Cobra i800 at $20,990 without a trade-in robot.
"The advantage of speed, simplicity and affordability of the i-series robots make them the ideal choice for small part assembly, handling and packaging," said John Dulchinos, VP and GM of robotics for Adept. "This promotion improves the financial justification for flexible automation and allows customers to apply robotics to a whole new class of applications."
The Adept Cobra i-series robots are the only self-contained SCARA robots in the world with the controller built into the robot arm, making them easier to install and operate and giving them a much smaller footprint. They are designed for automation tasks such as mechanical assembly, part transfer, material handling, packaging, palletizing, machine tending, screw driving and many other applications.
The promotion is scheduled to continue through the fall with final purchase orders needing to be placed by December 15th, 2004, and with delivery by December 24th, 2004. For more information on Adept's promotion, contact the company at (925) 245-3400 or at info@adept.com.
