Albuquerque, N.M.-based Introbotics Corp. was recently issued U.S. Patent No. 6,759,853 by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. This patent covers the use of a robotic domain reflectometry test system and a method to test PWBs and coupons with the system. The technology addressed in the patent provides the basis for Introbotics' CI1000 automated time domain reflectometry tester and the foundation for its follow-on work in automated VNA.
People Frank Gitmans, Ph.D.
Stamford, Conn.-based FEINFOCUS appointed Frank Gitmans, Ph.D., as managing director of its global headquarters in Garbsen, Germany. In this position, Gitmans oversees all aspects of the company's headquarters operations, including R&D, system and tube manufacturing, sales, and profitability. He earned a B.S. degree in physics from the University of Bonn in Germany, as well as a Ph.D. in thin film and measurement technologies from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich.
Debra Waltemyer
Machine Vision Products (MVP) selected Debra Waltemyer as its sales engineer for the U.S. East Coast. Waltemyer is based in the Philadelphia area, where MVP maintains units for demonstration purposes at the American Competitiveness Institute (ACI). She holds a B.S. in materials science from Pennsylvania State University and a masters degree in business administration and engineering from Lehigh University.
