EMI, California State University to Host Telecom Training Programs for Vietnamese Government

Santa Ana and Los Angeles, Calif. — Express Manufacturing Inc. (EMI) announces that it has partnered with California State University, Los Angeles to host an Executive Training Program for the top ranking officials of Vietnam Post and Telecommunication Corp. (VNPT), the government-owned and operated provider of telecommunications, postal and IT services in Vietnam.
VNPT manages the country's infrastructure and plays an important role in the national economy, defense and security. EMI will host a training event at its Orange County headquarters, in conjunction with another event hosted in San Diego by QUALCOMM Inc., pioneer and world leader of code division multiple access (CDMA) digital wireless technology.
The program is designed to facilitate intercultural communication and improve participants' understanding of market conditions and business practices in other countries. During their United States visit, the delegation will cover a wide range of topics, including successful Western business and competitive strategies; privatization, customer service and corporate culture; outsourcing manufacturing; and new wireless technology trends. The visit also presents an opportunity for U.S. and Vietnamese companies to exchange ideas on commercial collaboration.
