FlexLink Participates in INDUNIV Forum in Puerto Rico

Allentown, Pa. — FlexLink Systems Inc. recently participated in the Forum for Innovation in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The series of conferences and forums was sponsored by INDUNIV, whose mission is to promote and catalyze effective collaboration among industry, academia and government to solve technical and scientific problems of interest to the members and/or of general concern to industry in Puerto Rico. Most of the manufacturing members of INDUNIV are the pharmaceutical industry's major suppliers. While at the conference, FlexLink's Pharmaceutical Segment Business Development Manager, Paul Henderson, was invited to participate in two roundtable discussions: "Plant Floor Automation" and "Solutions in Automation for Root Cause Problems by Collecting Real- Time Data from Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)." The latter discussion focused on FlexLink's Dynamic Assembly Systems (DAS), which combines material handling hardware with automation and full tracking/traceability software.
