Phoenix and Germany — Duraswitch licensee Schurter GmbH, announces a new design for Adolf Nissen Elektrobau GmbH for traffic routing systems.
The new panels add Duraswitch MagnaMouse technology to Schurter's PushGate keyboard. Used in passenger-warning systems for traffic routing, the handheld device is operated by drivers of highway department trucks and controls a camera mounted on the trailer.
The Duraswitch MagnaMouse is a multi-directional cursor control that allows for cursor movement in a flat-panel design. This technology offers durability and environmental sealing improvements over alternative cursor technologies and allows digital or analog design options. MagnaMouse works with rubber or hard keycap overlays and basic flat-panel polyester overlays. MagnaMouse is integrated with PushGate or other pushbutton technologies into one thin panel, eliminating secondary assembly processes.
