Indium's Brooks Named President of the SMTA Dallas Chapter

Utica, N.Y.— Indium Corp.'s Rich Brooks has been named president of the Dallas, Texas SMTA chapter for 2004.
Brooks has outlined the short-term activities at the Dallas SMTA chapter to include:
- March 23: "Component Concerns in Pb-free Assembly" by James Huckabee (TI)
- April 20: "Manufacturing and Reliability of Pb-free and Mixed System Assemblies in Avionics Environments" by Hector Pallavicini (Raytheon)
- June 10: Dallas SMTA Vendor Day (several technical presentations along with a table top show)
Brooks serves as technical manager, global accounts at the Indium Corp. His duties include global technical support for the company¹s solder products particularly emphasizing Pb-free soldering. He is a graduate of the University of Florida, with BS degrees in chemistry and chemical engineering.
