Santa Ana, Calif. and Willow Grove, Pa. — Paradigm Manufacturing LLC, an electronics contract manufacturer and customer of Tyco Electronics, installed Tyco's new line of Mirae SMT equipment in their state-of-the-art facility.
Paradigm is a contract manufacturer specializing in circuit board assembly, test and integration. The company is dedicated to providing customers with outstanding services through continual improvement that focuses on minimizing waste and variability. Paradigm's business practices are varied and include process qualification and validation procedures, lean and cellular manufacturing shop floor, quick changeover techniques, 90+percent paperless system, Web-enabled order and tracking system, Six Sigma operational goals, and more. Paradigm Manufacturing LLC intends to become the premier electronics contract manufacturer of choice in Southern California, providing outsourcing solutions to military, medical and other high-end customers offering unparalleled business ethics, employee empowerment and lean manufacturing incentives.
Paradigm chosn the TYCO, Mirae line of pick-and-place machines (1025, 1025 & 1025P) because of their small footprint, high output and mobile trolley carts with off-line programming. Changeover (including trolley cart replacement, board width adjustment and program name change) has been accomplished within three minutes and 42 seconds for the three inline machines.
By focusing on new product introduction through medium-volume of surface mount board assemblies and integration projects, Paradigm Manufacturing LLC is able to offer value-added capabilities including PCB layout and design for manufacturing. Additionally, both consignment and turnkey orders can be filled.
