Exhibitor Weigh in With Initial Opinions on electronicaUSA with Embedded Systems Conference 2004
October 22, 2003 |Estimated reading time: 1 minute
San Francisco — More than 200 exhibitors have already registered for electronicaUSA with Embedded Systems Conference, which takes place here from March 29 to April 1, 2004.
The organizers — Munich Trade Fairs North America, a subsidiary of Messe Muenchen, and CMP Media — are betting on a total of more than 500 exhibitors and more than 18,000 trade visitors and participants at the conference. The electronicaUSA with Embedded Systems Conference is the first event in the U.S. for the entire electronics industry, with exhibition segments for semiconductors, embedded systems and software, EDA, measurement and testing, and communications.
The combination of different electronics sectors within a single event equally convinces the exhibitors of the special area for "Power Electronics Components, Systems and Applications."
Besides the companies already named, Motorola, Analog Devices, IBM, Microsoft, STMicroelectronics, Wind River, Mentor Graphics, Synopsys and Tektronix will be taking part at electronicaUSA with Embedded Systems Conference. The event also enjoys widespread support on the part of trade and industry associations in North America, Europe and Asia.
The exhibits at the electronicaUSA trade fair are clearly subdivided into 16 segments, including semiconductors, embedded systems, sensors and microsystems, ED/EDA, circuit boards, electromechanical components and connection technology, passive components, components and subsystems, displays, power supplies, measurement and testing, and supply-chain systems.
The trade fair is accompanied by several top-level technical and business conferences. Besides the Embedded Systems Conference there is the Power Electronics Components, Systems and Applications Conference and also the Communications Design Conference. Here, the major international names will discuss new technologies, market trends, and applications. In addition, a forum within the exhibition halls offers a platform for company presentations.
As of 2004, electronicaUSA is the new international electronics trade fair with conference for business, technology and innovation for the United States. For more information, visit www.electronicaUSA.com.
