Enthone Appoints Global Director, PWB Marketing

West Haven, Conn. — Tim Packwood has been appointed global director, PWB Marketing by Enthone Inc., a Cookson Electronics PWB Materials & Chemistry business.
Packwood will have global responsibility for the direction of the Enthone PWB chemistry business. He also will direct the Enthone PWB marketing team of global product line managers, who are charged with the growth and market development of ENVISION metallization systems, ENTEK PLUS organic solderability preservatives, AlphaLEVEL immersion silver, ENTHONE DSR solder masks and AlphaPREP oxide replacement technologies. Packwood will focus on expanding the company's market share and continued growth in the Asia-Pacific region.
With more than 15 years in the PWB business, Packwood's past experience includes being part of the Cookson Electronics European team, where he had responsibilities for a variety of research and development, sales and marketing functions. His most recent work included the market introduction, development and technical support of PWB surface finishes.
Packwood earned a BS degree in chemistry and computer science from Portsmouth University in the United Kingdom. He will be based out of the Enthone's West Haven, Conn. corporate headquarters.
