YESTech Wins Contract with Accutron to Provide AOI Systems

San Clemente, Calif. and Windsor, Conn. — YESTech has won a contract to provide automated optical inspection (AOI) systems to Accutron, a manufacturing and product development services provider.
Accutron will use YESTech's YTV-2080 inline systems for inspecting prototype and production boards, including SMT, solder and thru-hole. As part of the contract, YESTech customized its system software to meet Accutron's specific requirements.
The YTV-2080 reportedly inspects for component presence/absence, correct part, position, solder and color. Featuring up to eight proprietary mega-pixel color cameras, the YTV-2080 offers exceptional defect coverage with low false calls. The YTV-2080 can inspect an 8 x 10" board in less than seven seconds, and accommodate boards as large as 20 x 24". Additional features include, an auto-adjust conveyor, side viewing cameras for advanced solder inspection, OCR and Bar Code capabilities.
