Start of Embedded in Munich Postponed Until November 2004
July 15, 2003 |Estimated reading time: 1 minute
Munich — Messe München GmbH and CMP Media have decided to postpone the start of the Embedded in Munich with Embedded Systems Conference Munich, originally scheduled for November 11 through 14, 2003, until 2004.
Potential exhibitors' interest in participating in that event had been huge, especially as they looked upon the international character of Embedded in Munich very favorably. Due to presently difficult economic circumstances, national and international key players as well as medium-sized enterprises are unable to release further budget in 2003. The reasons may lie in the global political developments and the strained market situation in Asia within the last few months, as well as the reluctant investments in Germany. After consultation with potential exhibitors of Embedded in Munich and the program committee of the Embedded Systems Conference Munich, the fair organizers have now decided to postpone the event until the upcoming year.
Embedded in Munich and the Embedded Systems Conference Munich is now scheduled for November 9 through 12, 2004, conjointly with electronica 2004. Besides a sustainable recovery of the overall economy and the embedded market Messe München also expects the key fair for electronic components and assemblies to be the ideal environment for the Embedded in Munich 2004.
