April 15, 2003 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Goleta, Calif. -- Indigo Systems has acquired the Applied Technology Division of Florida's Control Systems Research Inc.
The new company division, Indigo Advanced Systems (IAS), will remain based in Florida.
The core hardware and software engineers of the newly formed IAS division have developed innovative camera acquisition, calibration, processing and analysis software for high performance infrared cameras for more than 15 years.
One of the products that transferred to Indigo under the acquisition is RTools. The RTools software suite was created to specifically address the rigorous requirements of scientists and researchers who need extremely accurate radiometric measurements of dynamic phenomenon in rapidly changing environments. Prior to this acquisition, the RTools software toolkit has been used for several years by various military ranges on Indigo Systems' IR cameras.
Indigo Systems Corp. is a premier developer and supplier of advanced infrared cameras and components, covering the entire infrared spectrum including near-, midwave-, and longwave-IR. For more information, visit www.indigosystems.com.
