Oscar Khaselev Appointed Senior Material Scientist, Enthone Inc.

West Haven, Conn. -- Oscar Khaselev, Ph.D. has been appointed senior material scientist by Enthone Inc., a Cookson Electronics PWB Materials & Chemistry business.
Khaselev's primary responsibility will be new technology and materials development for the semiconductor and microelectronics industries.
Khaselev is a material scientist with more than 10 years of experience in electrochemistry and electronic materials. Prior to joining Enthone, Khaselev was a materials scientist with the former Electroplating Chemicals & Services division of Lucent Technologies. While at EC&S, his primary responsibility was the development of a new generation of lead-free products used by the semiconductor and microelectronics industries. Khaselev also developed novel spectroelectrochemical techniques for fundamental understanding of electrodeposition process.
Khaselev received his Ph.D. degree in material science from Technion-Israel institute of Technology. He continued his academic research as a postdoctoral fellow at Oxford University, UK. In 1997 Khaselev joined National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Golden Colo. where he developed novel semiconductor devices for hydrogen production.
Khaselev is an active member of The Electrochemical Society and The American Electroplaters and Surface Finishers Society. He has authored more than 30 scientific publications.
