IPC Elects New Board Members

Northbrook, Ill. -- The membership of IPC -- Association Connecting Electronics Industries elected new directors at IPC's 2002 IPC Annual Meeting, which took place November 3 through 7 in New Orleans, La.
The IPC nominating committee presented the following individuals for positions on the board of directors for two-year terms, beginning January 1, 2003:
- Stanley P. Gentry, president of Noble Industries Ltd., Hibbing, Minn. Gentry, a member of the board of directors since 1994, was selected to serve a fifth, two-year term. Noble Industries is a merchant printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturer.
- Stephen Wohlgemuth, vice president, Photocircuits Corp., Glen Cove, N.Y. Wohlgemuth joined IPC in 1984 and was general chairman of the Fabrication Committee. He also held the positions of chairman of the Drilling Subcommittee and the Tooling and Lamination Subcommittee. In 1994, Wohlgemuth was elected to the IPC Board of Directors. He has been with Photocircuits for 33 years and became an owner in 1986.
- Raymond R. Boissoneau, president, Electropac Co. Inc., Manchester, N.H. Boissoneau is a member of both the IPC Presidents Council Steering Committee and Technology Market Research Council (TMRC). He is a board member of the New Hampshire High-Tech Council, and the New Hampshire College Small Business Development Program. Electropac is a merchant PCB manufacturer with four fabrication locations having annual sales of $42 million.
- Paul C. Langston, chief executive officer, Coretec Inc., Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. Langston is an IPC TMRC member and has been a member of the Young President's Organization since 1993. Coretec Inc., is a publicly held merchant PCB manufacturer with several facilities and sales of $76 million in 2001.
- Jack Calderon, managing director, Lincoln Partners LLC, Chicago, Ill. Calderon previously served as an IPC board member from 1997 to 2000. Prior to joining Lincoln Partners in January 2001, Calderon spent 20 years in operating positions in the electronics manufacturing services (EMS) industry. Lincoln Partners LLC is a mergers and acquisitions firm with 30 employees.
- Sammy Yi, vice president, Assembly Technology Development, Flextronics International, San Jose, Calif. Yi has more than 10 years of experience in engineering, quality system, technology development and operations management in electronics manufacturing with both original equipment manufacturing and EMS companies in the U.S. and overseas. Yi is a member of the IPC SMEMA Council's APEX Technical Program Committee.

- Gerhard D. Meese, Dover Technologies, executive vice president
- Nilesh S. Naik, Eagle Circuits, vice president
- Stephen Pudles, Nu Visions Manufacturing LLC, president
