Free Special Events Highlight New NEPCON West/Assembly West/Fiberoptic Automation Expo Co-Location

Norwalk, Conn. -- The NEPCON West, Assembly West and Fiberoptic Automation Expo co-located trade event, taking place December 4 through 6, 2002, at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, Calif., will feature special events free to all attendees.
Michael Mace, chief competitive officer of PalmSource Inc., will present "The Future of the Mobile Device Market" at noon on Wednesday, December 4th. In his address, which is free to all registered attendees and exhibitors, Mace will provide a look ahead, forecasting both the ways that people will use mobile devices in the future, and technology's role in initiating these changes.
On Thursday, December 5th at noon, Jeff Montgomery, founder and chairman of ElectroniCas, Inc. will present "Automation's Impact on the Fiberoptic Industry." Montgomery will provide an analysis of how the restructuring will take place, along with valuable insights into how automation will increase yields and lower costs.
