X-Tek Systems Appoints Global Marketing Head
October 2, 2002 |Estimated reading time: 1 minute
Tyngsboro, Mass. -- X-Tek Systems has appointed Paul Ramsay to the newly created position of sales and marketing manager with global responsibilities.
Ramsay's appointment signals the company's ambition for significant sales growth through greater penetration of global markets in the key regions of North America, Europe and the Far East. With the greatest proportion of X-Tek systems' past and future sales being for X-ray inspection of electronic assemblies, PCBs, BGA solder joints and IC packaging, his extensive knowledge of and deep experience in global electronic markets will prove especially valuable.
With more than 12 years' experience in the electronics industry, Ramsay has worked in a variety of sales and marketing roles including spells with LTX, one of the world's largest suppliers of semiconductor test equipment. Prior to this he was director of Asian sales and then director of East Coast and Asian sales at the Tyco-owned Quad Systems Corp., based in Philadelphia.
In addition to the electronics industries, Ramsay will also be working closely with X-Tek Systems' global network of distributors to increase sales of systems for a wide range of applications including non destructive testing (NDT), automotive, aerospace, pharmaceutical, military and scientific research.
X-Tek Inc. is the premier manufacturer of real-time microfocus X-ray inspection equipment and high-resolution vacuum de-mountable X-ray sources. For more information, visit www.xtekxray.com.
