AEI Introduces Micro-Eyes for Cross Section Measurements

Micro-eyes is a complete turnkey system that allows the operator to go from the first measurement to finished report (complete with SPC charts, measurement data file and digital images) in a matter of seconds. The user-friendly controls feature auto focus, motorized zoom, motorized panning left and right, up and down, automatic storage of measurements in an MS Excel spreadsheet and color digital camera.
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Aegis Industrial Software Corp. has announced a technology integration agreement with Siemens Dematic Electronic Assembly Systems, Inc. Under the agreement, Aegis CAD data importers will now be embedded within the new Siemens SIPLACE Pro machine management and programming software. This technology integration provides automatic placement program generation for SIPLACE customers via the proven CAD interpreters used across all Aegis products. SIPLACE Pro users benefit from a single software interface, rather than separate applications, which has been the tradition with third-party CIM solutions.
