Northrop Grumman Acquires Kester Solder

Kester Solder, Des Plaines, Ill., was acquired itself by Litton Industries in 1967. A worldwide manufacturer of solders and related materials for the electronic manufacturing industry, the company's products include: solder pastes, flux cored and solid wire solders, solder preforms, bar solders, solder spheres, plating anodes, liquid fluxes, advanced polymer products for electronic applications, residue removers and cleaners, temporary solder masks, and conductive inks.
ROME, N.Y. - The Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Association presented two grants to help fund research in the area of ESD. Each of the renewable one-year grants is for $10,000.
