Release 4.1 of the Model 3500 Automatic Component Assembly Cell Software includes enhancements that are said to be designed to increase accuracy, provide the operator with a greater choice of features and operations, and increase ease-of-use. Updates include lookup camera referencing, dynamic axis correction and a touch-based wafer punch-up routine. Wafer programming is said to be simplified, a tool-purge parameter has been added and jog options have been expanded. This version is designed for fully automatic, high-speed, precision microelectronics assembly, including pick-and-place, bonding, and dispensing.
