NEPCON China 2011 Highlights Auto Electronics of the Future
January 13, 2011 |Estimated reading time: 3 minutes
At the recently held Expo 2010 Shanghai, the 10-minute film “2030 Go!” shown in the SAIC-GM Pavilion showed intelligent technologies that included “car networking” and unmanned car-driving--features of futuristic cars expected by the year 2030.
Although vehicles that feature concepts like car networking are not yet popular in the mainstream, the application of electronic information technology in vehicles has long been standard. The development of auto electronics naturally drives the development of electronics manufacturing equipment.
The twenty-first edition of NEPCON China, which will take place at the Shanghai Everbright Convention and Exhibition Center May 1-13, 2011, will bring together top international manufacturers of electronic equipment to showcase developing trends in auto electronics manufacturing.
According to data from CCID Consulting, the value of the Chinese auto electronics market is expected to reach RMB 240 billion (US $36.4 billion) this year. As new energy cars comprise a large part of the seven emergent industries whose development China is accelerating, the growth potential of the auto electronics industry is set to be reached. Clearly, auto electronics is a new growth area in electronics manufacturing, providing new opportunities for Chinese manufacturers of specialized electronics manufacturing equipment.
The exhibits at NEPCON China 2011 will cover the entire electronics manufacturing industry chain, including SMT, electronics manufacturing services, test and measurement equipment, components, PCB, ESD and the latest other all-in-one innovative solutions. Industry leaders including Assembléon, Agilent, Siemens, Sony, Hitachi, Samsung, Panasonic, Fuji, Saki, Henkel, Yamaha, Tokyo Juki already are confirmed exhibitors. Additionally, Kenke, JOT, Zestron, Kyzen, Folungwin Automatic Equipment and other exhibitors will be on-site to show the most remarkable new products in the industry.
Every visitor to a NEPCON event is impressed by the professionalism and knowledge ability characteristic of each show. The Head of the Hirschmann Auto Communication Equipment (Shanghai) Purchasing Department remarked that having visited NEPCON China 2010, he now regarded the show as a must-attend event for members of the electronics manufacturing industry. He was delighted to have reached the preliminary stages of cooperation agreements with WKK and Anda Electronics through the exhibition.
Senior members of the Auto Electronics Manufacturing Department of Bosch Auto Parts (Suzhou) were impressed by how NEPCON China brought together the types of high caliber, industry-leading SMT equipment suppliers they were looking for. Additionally, they were pleased with the level of the services provided by the organizer.
Josephine Lee, Vice President of Reed Exhibitions, reaffirmed NEPCON’s focus on the auto electronics industry. With auto electronics technology relying more on electronics, networking, “informationization” and intelligent technologies, NEPCON China 2011 will feature advanced technologies, new products and the latest equipment in the sector. This will make it the ideal event for the electronics manufacturing community to exchange information and conduct business negotiations. It also is the best channel for participants to evaluate and purchase auto electronics manufacturing equipment and systems.
NEPCON China 2011 is expected to attract nearly 500 exhibitors and 18,000 visitors from 22 countries and regions. The show will cover a floor area of 32,000 sqm. Online pre-registration is ongoing. Visit http://www.nepconchina.com/ now and pre-register to be onsite at NEPCON China 2011!
