November 9, 2012 | I-Connect007Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Editor's Note: This video interview is courtesy of Philip Stoten at EMSNow.Aegis Software recently concluded its acquisition of Germany-based diplan GmbH and the Shanghai-based diplan Asia, which has operations in Singapore. In an interview, Jason Spera, CEO of Aegis Software, said acquisition brings to the company very highly developed technology for planning, scheduling, optimization, warehousing, and materials control.
“It is an amazing fit because there are no product overlaps, and it’s a technology that our customers all over the world need,” Spera adds.
In addition to the technologies that diplan brings to Aegis’s product line, the acquisition also greatly accelerates Aegis’ expansion into Europe and Asia--complementing Aegis’ dominant presence in North America, and established presence in the UK, Scandinavia, and Benelux.
